Berlin The Royal City

1. Berlinale (international film festival) held in February;
2. Carnival of Cultures filling streets with plenties of people and drink and food takes place in the end of May;
3. the Christopher Street Day being one of the key June Berlin events, a superior show both for viewers and participants;
4. Berlin- Marathon held annually in September, a lot of runners and skaters (about 50,000) come to the capital of Germany to jog along the Berlin streets, what about joining  the famous Christmas Market.

• Unter den Linden, one of the most famous streets in Berlin, a lot of important buildings and organizations are located here;

• the prominent Reichstag having a plenty of memories kept inside the walls;
• the Soviet War Memorial having a great monument to Soviet warriors; Berliners believe that's their history and don't even dare think of destroying it, but taking special care of this piece of the World War II.
